okies people, thinking about saving up for an ITS performance upgrade... now i cant afford it at the moment so just wondering... if i get my own extractors/exhaust will they be compatible etc with an ITS engine, as in what should i be looking for... Also, with ITS engines, whats the torque curve like, i've heard head work makes engines rev high and all the power is produced late in the rev range...

*sighs* gee i missed this place!

Hi there Distortion how are we all ?
You can get your own exhaust no problems try to get at least 2&half inch mandrel bent free flow with pacemaker extractors either std or preferably comp series and that will adapt beautifully. As for the torque it depends on what you want I'll cater for you guys out there you tell me what you want i'll do it torque down low / even throughout / up the top / or just NECK SNAPPIN.

Hey ITS, you can see in my sig that I already have the comp series extractors and a 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust. If I were to come in for a standard rebuild + balance how much would that set me back, and would there be any gains in power (keeping in mind my motor has done 200,000km).
Thanks.
