I have heard there is stuff called DX80 or something that is best for gearbox oil? is that true? And wat plug do i undo there is one on each side (2 on one side if you count the drain) ummm watelse.... oh easiest way to get the oil in? do i use a squeezy bottle and a tube or something? Thanks everyone

This is a manual, yeah?

Dexron III is the trans fluid of choice, i believe its also recommended you use the Lubrizoil additive with it.

Auto's easy... just use Ford BTR Le fluid lol.

Hey man yeah i heard that dexron III was fords choice but talking to a few mechanics the name VMX80 by castrol came up. There was an additive with it as well. I filled it up bu getting a tomato sause squeezy bottle drilled a hole through the top and insertted a hose and squeezed away. Worked a charm lol. About 10minutes ago i took it for its first spin up and down our road! totally awesome! clutch feels nice, gears shift perfect. Im pretty proud of my efforts.

NOTE: when putting driveshaft back on make sure the handbrake cable is UNDER the fuking thing not over the top grrr... lol

Ok problems... I took the car out for a drive into town and i started to get this noise from around the clutch area, Like a rubbing or ticking noise. I have a feeling it has sometihing to do with the thrust bearing, thats just my gut feeling. Is there any adjustments i could do somewhere? how do i check that i adjusted the clutch cable right? thanks guys
