I got 149rwkw out of a DEV3HL package from my old EF XR6 manual.
But it wasn't the power that impressed me.
It was the extra boost in mid-range torque that made the difference.
Dyno chart in my gallery if you want to have a peek.

Price is up to you mate.
I look at it this way;
If you can afford the JMM package and want to know how much power and torque your likely to get for you cash, then go JMM.
If your budget is limited, listen to the other guys on this forum who have had experience with other packages and maybe save yourself some cash.

Either way, it's your cold hard erned mate.

but it doesnt start to make any more significant power over stock until 3500 rpm looking at your chart. This makes it more of a top end cam. Depends on what he wants. a cms cam will make maybe 5- 9 kw less on the same system, but make heaps more torque earlier on, which means better pull earlier. horses for courses. Who's dyno was this printout off?

Yeah I know.
It's strange.
The dyno printout does suggest that, but when I drove the car, it felt like it had more grunt everywhere - especially from 2000rpm to 4000rpm.
The dyno test was done by Howell Automotive in Hobart.

Either way, regardless of who hates JMM, who loves them, and who couldn't give a rats a***, there's no denying their gear works. And it's proven.

Well first comes my paint job, then my insurance, then another car to pay for (I rear ended another car about 2 months ago) and then comes the cam. I could be a while but I will update in my own car thread and I might even start a new one up in the garage forum.

I could be 2 months but I defiantly will let everyone know but I'm happy to go with the wade 1673 cam.

Thanks for all the comments guys I appreciate it.

not trying to start any hate just pointing out that the dev3hl seems to be a top end cam. I was looking at them myself for when the time comes, and this is the first readout of a car ive seen with one. Id much rather look at the delivery than the PPO.

still their online catalogue says $490 for their cams (right through the range).

For that money Id wait for a billet wade. Or a cms stage 3 with shims and vernier gear and change.
