Talking to Jim Mock last week about some headers for the XH Ute i have, as it has Tickford GAs system most headers won't fit because they will hit the mixer. HAs anyone got a tickford system & had these special JMM manufactured headers fitted???

Also How often should you change the Fuel filter & does K & N make any fuel filters that would fit :)

Oh & dad has got me onto these injectors that we could obtain from Repco that are made for holdens aparently that pump slightly more fuel in but makes the engine perform better. Don't now what they are off exactly but they are cheap at $150 a set, also a mate told me apparently you can use injectors off the new Magna's & they go hard to.

Don't know about the JMM headers but I know that Advance Headers will fit in there with the Tickford gas. I had both on my XH ute.

How much were the Advanced headers? did they much power gain, if so where abouts were the gains bottom, mid or top. :D

Sh*t, that was a while ago now... I'll have to dig out the receipt and check.
There was a noticable gain all through the range, but the biggest smile was induced high in the revs. The XH revved out much more eagerly, you could feel it wasn't choked anymore. Keep in mind I also had a sysyem fitted at same time as headers too. Kept factory 2 1/4 cat and front resonator (I hate drone), then continued with 2 1/4 pipe, one Ultraflow muffler and she sounded sweeeet.

The factory system consisted of two mufflers, one resonator and the cat. It sounded like a f@rt through a McDonalds straw, it was that choked!
