I have a 1993 EB Fairmont with a straight six 4.0L EFI egnine. My question is, What is the kilowatt or horsepower of the engine. I keep finding answers that say about 198HP~148Kw.

I also want to know what mods I can do to my car so that it is still street legal and wont attract the cops a lot. Im thinking of a sports exhaust or something.

have a bit of a browse and a read through a lot of the threads. you will find a lot of helpful information and advice. if you still can't find what you're after then ask a question. great bunch of guys on this site. i'm sure someone will know the answer to whatever problems arise.

as for mods. the usual things people do are extractors, exhaust, lower it a touch or a lot depending on taste/insurance etc. there are a few things you can do with the intake to get more air into the engine. depending on your budget the 4.0 will respond quite well to cam upgrade as well.

hope this helps

you want power without attracting attention, have a look at what the guys at RPD can offer you. Cams are a pretty easy way of making power. they have stuff from mild to wild, depending on how far you want to go with it. they can offer you solutions and advise, IF they have a product that will suit your needs they can help out of steer you in the right direction.

I will. Oh does having wider tyres increase or decrease kw? because I have 215s on the front and 225s on the rear. (lots of grip)
