hey guys im just replacing my lifters in my ef falcon I6. and im woundering are the new ones meant to be loose??? for example the old ones were very snug in and i had to use pliers to get them out, these new ones fit well (there is no play in side to side movement) but are alot easyer to remove. this normal???
Thanks,
Jason

yep thats normal as the old ones probable had the factory retainers, and the new ones dont have retainers..
just use some tape and wrap it around the rocker holding the lifter in while re fitting the rocker assembly so the lifters dont fall out..
