Today i started the car and noticed that smoke was coming out from the exhaust. first i thought that it might have been because the engine was cold, but then after the a while there was still smoke, and when i revved a bit, more smoke came out. i was wondering what might cause this and how to fix it. its an EL falcon and the seems to be white-ish and i think sometimes light blue, but not too sure aboutt the light blue part.

thanks for any help :D

even sounds like oil and water smoke, could be the gasket giving way. Check you oil for coolant and your coolant for oil.

It could be rings but do a few tests before you jumping to conclustions

when you check your coolant make sure engine running see if there little bubbles comming up if so yer thats a head gasket(most likerly) or head

when you check your oil see it it got a bit milky(whitish) thats the coolant and oil mixxing which also means the headgasket or head.

It could be the valve stem seals rubber has cracked around the valve stem and leaking oil threw that way(my car just done it i got to get around to getting a Valve spring remover that dose the job without removing the head)

How much smoke is comming out??? just faint bit and when rev it blows it out crazy????

did you do a recent oil change? if so what grade oil you put in? might be to thin and getting threw rings and valves.

if your really sure it just white and not blue dose it have a rought idle? what fuel you use? might suggest a tank the preimum to clean engine out and small flogging to clean the engine out.

i had a problem with the Pcv valve on the top of the engine sucking oil threw into the inlet manifold and smoking from it. i ended up blocking it and putting a air filter on the top of the engine which is a no no and ill get on trouble when i get pulled off and inspected.
