hi guys,

I Just won on ebay as stated above. got i for $150, apparently a $480 cam. its a billet cam so no shims are required, is this ture? the guy says he pulled of 141RWKW with an eb xr6 manual, i have an ef auto with exausht, 3" air intake and ss cold induction. how much extra kw u think i could be looking at and what are some other good mods to do with it?

If you had any other type of E series I would of said increase timing.....

Idle might suffer at first but once the ECU relearns the change to the engine it should go alright.

oh ok, so shouldnt need a new ecu?? so should be looking a nice upgrade in rwkw with this cam? how long does it take for the ecu to adjust roughly??

unplug your ECU and leave it unplugged for 15 mins. Then re-connect it, start it, let it idle for 10 mins. Go for a light cruise, then highway, then thrash it...
That'd be the best way for the ECU to re-program itself in line with the new cam

picked up the cam yesturday!! hopefully put it in next weekend!! does anyone kno if my standard ecu will be ableto adjust to the new cam or will i need an upgrade? would just getting a tickford ecu help?

My brother is running one in his EL manual. It was A HUGE improvement over the wade 1004 we had before that. Its running on the standard ECU with no problems.

Get a set of decent extractors (if you dont already), it will get the most out of the cam.
