I've been looking around on ebay and can't find any k&n panel filters for a BA (except 1 that comes with a bigger snorks which I dont want). Alot suit AU and all e-series. Is the BA airbox larger or something?

EA-AU 6 cylinder's use air filter A491 which is a KN33-2015.
BA 6 cylinder's use air filter A1475 which is a KN33-2852. BA airbox is a lot larger, and the K&N filter is somewhat more expensive.

I had a K&N in my EL XR6 and took it off before I received my BA. Cleaned it up and went to put it in the BA and found it fitted except for 1 corner which was rounded more than the others. So, no-go with the K&N. Anyone after a low KM K&N for an EF/EL?

I'm not from the area, but just about every spare parts place deals with Rocket Industries, and they are the Australian distributor of K&N filters.

Hey guys, hey smiley you heaped me heaps with my BA mods summary.
Uhhh i rang rocket industries (didnt even know this thread existed till i searched to check price against quote) - they said ANY auto parts retailer will have or order KN filters for you - eg Repco ; Autobarn or whatever company in state. From their website (rocket indust) http://www.rocketindustries.com.au/sear ... 0&limit=50 KN33-2708 K&N FILTERS - Panel Filter - Ford Falcon (a431) KN33-2015 K&N FILTERS - Panel Filter - Ford Falcon Eb-au (a491) Me - Queensland- Repco quoted me $161 for a KN filter for a BA I6. I reckon thats a bit of a BS price ey (fu%king repco).....BUT it is for a BA i guess and yeh...well is the closest store. but i reckon i might just ring around, tell the other stores what Repco quoted me and see if they can beat that price.

 I thought i'd be looking around that price range, damn I wish i could start my apprenticeship now!! i'll ask repco if their air filters ever go on sale, that would be my best bet.

Check out Jay at RPD's price on K&N. He's usually the cheapest around western Sydney and he does mail order.

Just bought a KN filter for my BA I6.
Repco Queensland - $161 from the store. ************* JAYS RPD (FORDMODS SPONSER) *************** ------------> duh duh da daaaaa = $130 POSTED FROM NSW IN CONCLUSION %$#@$# REPCO AND Good On Ya Sonya Too RPD (who by the way, got in touch with pricing information and payment details within a day, even after hours. sick as)
