Went out to car today, and the keyless entry button didnt work....tried a few times, still nothing. The actual key still works though.

Went and got battery in remote changed, still nothing.

Checked the door lock fuse, still good. Doors don't lock without it and they lock with it still in.

Can someone point me in the right direction as to where the keyless entry module or whatever it's called, is located. Or if they had the same prob, what did ya do to fix it.

Oh its a 94 EF Fairmont, as shown in pic below.

never happend to me but do your interior lights work? apperantly if there not workin an ya keys dont work thers a fuse blown, somethin like "CMD LMP" or soemthin, im sure someone will correct me :D

Yeah the lights all work, the smartlock light still flashes(not whilst driving) and everything works fine, I havnt touched anything in a month or more.

Done my stereo months ago, and I know which wires to connect doni that anyways, so im lost as to why it has just stopped. never realised how much easier the button is to actually using your key...s**t me something shockin

make sure where you put the battery in the remote that the two ends are tight on either end of battery...
