Hey guys, i am replacing a set off lifters in a mates EL falcon, The new lifters didnt come with the nylon o-ring that sits at the top of lifter and all the old ones are stuffed, can I put the new lifters in without this O-ring or will it cause damage??
Anyhelp asap would be great cheers Molloy.

You do not need that o-ring just use some tape around the lifter onto the rocker gear to hold it in place as you put the rocker gear back on.
with my mates we just jammed bits of the old orings in his to hold the lifters in... Dodgy as but no issues! No noise etc.

just buy some repco stock em in sets bout $1 each from memory
