that happend to me once, not my fault but i wasnt to happy...
i had to get a coat hanger and went in from the back of the front doors about 2/3s the way up the window an opened the door handle an then got into the car to pop the boot good luck dude

when this happend to my uncle he just used a coat hanger to hit the sniper button inside the drivers door.....
it was an AU series 2 sedan |

use a large screwdriver, cover the end with a rag to protect your paint and lever the top rear corner of the door open enough to either 1)slip a bit of wire in to pull the inside handle to open the door or 2)something long to push to boot button.
thats how i used to do it until i got this nifty little inflatable pillow to pry the door open

^^^ how we used to do it in an un-named Ford yard. Hit the door unlock button. WIth your keys in the boot, the boot button will no doubt be easier to get to. Will take a decent piece of wire though. You can hook something into the lock and pry it up, but you will more than likely scratch it to hell trying numerous times before succeeding.

Series 2 EF's have the boot release button disabled when the keys arent in the igniton! Makes it a little harder :/

Yeah forgot about that. My bad! Whilst we're being technical I am pretty sure they are time delayed and not disabled when the key is removed though. As has been said aim for the door unlock button, or pull the handle from inside. Just go easy on how much pressure you put on the door when levering it back. |

There are worse things to lock in the boot mate, just ask Till_lind.... lol
Just ring the NRMA mate, a lot easier... And buy another remote!! They are like $40 on ebay.... |

u dont have to pull the inner door handle very far before the central locking will open all the doors
