im ganna try new oil pressure switch today but i couldn't get the old one off what do you guys use to remove the old oil pressure switch? and where do you get it from?
under car? remove airbox and put arm threw from the quater pannel remove snorkle and put arm in along with engine under manifold of down threw the manifold?

why not try putting the correct oil in for starters??
I have always run 20w/50 in my 3.9 and its has NEVER ticked upon start up ever. Only does it after an oil change then gone after about 5 seconds.

i have a EF Fairmont aswell, but mines a 94 series 1 its done 180,000 kays now, i was getting concerned about the oil aswell, when i start it cold, she sits on half way, while being driven she sits on half, but at idle (almost evry idle) she sits on 1/4 but never below that, is that cause for concern? as my friends EL sits about 3/4 all the time, mines way less? is mine okay or is there something wrong? my temp never goes above the first marker and computer says 84deg but my friends el sits on 98deg, why is that? differant cooling? thanks guys!

ok i did a service on my car today and i used castrol 15w 40 and she running ok
it dose loose oil pressure but it hasen't set off the beeper. ill drive it hard into work tomorrow and see if it dose it cheers jason
