one of my mates said 2 me yesturday that he can take a bolt off the engine or exhaust or sumthin that wuld make the car sound louder. This is in my other car the hz kingswood. any1 no wat he means?

you could just unbolt the whole exhaust or if you have aftermarket extractors on old cars sometimes they have a bolt in the header that can be taken out. Its only used in some cars for pollution control or mixture control or something. Someone will be able to explain better :)

i once took a bolt off the ED's exhaust and it sounded soooo nice...
until i wsa told by the cops to fix it as its too loud :P

ask hyena, loosen 2 bolts that connects ya cat converter to ya exhaust and it becomes quite loud lol personally mate, I dont think its gonna matter, if u want it that loud, go get an excel and get a cannon on it

where the exhaust manifold joins into one there will be a small box looking thing bout 200mm long its wider than the rest of the piping and has a heat sheild on it cant miss it. can take it off and empty the contents to get the same sound without the hole on the outside but this is highly illegal and a huge fine comes with any tampering of the emissions control (cat converter turns bad smoke into slightly better bad smoke) on a post 1986 car so be warned!!!!!
