Lucky bastards here in NSW p platers can't drive anything with 8 cylinders or more, high performance 6, no engine mods allowed, no turbo, no super charger, no extractors not even a f**k pod filter (but still have one) so consider yourself luckey!! I don't know what the legal blood alcohol levels are in others states but in NSW for a p plater it 0.00 not even allowed to drink f**k cough medecin and go for a drive and mate stop braggin bout the drive in the XR6 turbo mate makes you sound like a spoilt little s**t.

hahaha classic! give it s**t man.

ull be right. new cars are piss easy to drive.
first manaul i ever drove on the road when i got my L's was my old mans mustang. Complete with big flat spot, 4speed toploader, twinplate clutch, 400hp v8. and a f**k awkward seating position. Stupid US design.

Was fun :D
Live it up!

I learnt in my folks '97 EL, and loved its power and torque. Now on my P's and have an EB and now very disappointed in my decision. Compared to my parents EL, its not even on the same level and its el' stocko. Wished I got an EL.

The EB still has good power, but the EL's bottem end torque was great (i have only driven one EL, so my opinion could be bias). You wouldn't even need to really try to get the wheels spinning, compared to my EB. I would buy one now, but I think I will wait till get off my P's (Victoria) and get a EL or AU XR8.

first car i even drove was a 1984 toyota tarago DX, 5 speed manual, man that thing flew, then i had a 5 speed 1500 laser, then (skip the holden) i got a 1300 laser 4 speed manual. pretty gutless but it still beat a turbo skyline (old model) around the corner and up to 60 kms... gotts love the power to weight :D
