I was originally going to get a 2.5" Lukey exhaust with their headers but I am now a little worried as I have read in a few posts that the exhausts are good but don't touch the headers. But there have been no reasons put as to what is wrong with them or what the difference is with Pacemakers.

Cheers

My brother had lukey extractors on his ed and just put the pacemakers on and it feels as if it goes and pulls alot harder with them on. They are alot bigger than the lukey extractors aswell

There's a lot to consider.

First of all price, the Lukeys retail for around $350, gbut if you get an exhaust with it, Carline (they're about the most common Lukley retailer) will give you like 20% to 30% off usually (may vary customer to customer and store to store). So that a bit over $250.
And Pacemakers are a bit more expensive - a fair bit if you get the Competition Series instead of the standards.

If you get the Pacemakers you may have to go to another store to get them and the other store may/may not sell Lukey exhausts (although Redback are equally as good from what I've heard). If you get the exhaust done at one store and the headers at another it may take longer and you might not get discount on the system.

But with that said I ordered some Pacemaker Compeitions and 2 1/2" hi-flow cat ($640 installed) last week to replace my Lukeys and standard cat. But the guys rang me on Friday and said there'll be at least a week wait on the headers as everyones out of stock.

I've got Pacemaker extractors and a Lukey exhaust on mine - no complaints whatsoever.

I was speaking to the guy that runs Carline in Mt Druitt ... and he told me to go the Pacemaker extractors over the Lukey ones .... he also said expect a 2-4 week wait for them ... they are in demand as well ... they are still waiting on back orders for the I6 extractors for the Falcon.

I just got my 2.5" catback exhaust replaced with custom made pipe and smaller Lukey muffler installed ... hell it's damn good ... I am very happy with it ... bring on the high-flow cat and Pacies.

Go the pacemakers I like them and they worked for me. Check my gallery.

Only problem is the paint clean em up and paint them yourself properly. The Pacemaker blue looks good for about a year untill the little rust spots start showing through.
