i spoke to the guy at the exhaust joint he said that we will play around with it till im happy with it - going to cost me $50 but he will make it so im happy with it - im going to try and get the twin dump tip but apparently with the au's they take a bit of mucking around because of the rear bar

Like EBXR8380 said, the bigger the diameter of the pipe, the lower the note. That's why for example a WRX rally car has such a high pitch note whereas a ricer WRX has a lower note...

It won't do your performance or pocket any good but if you really want a low note then get a full mandrel bent 3" system with one muffler and no resi.


This is pretty much right but the note doesnt stay "deep/low" over 3500-4000 over that it sounds like a bloody race motor and screams.. Turns heads i love the sound.
