I have an EB XR6 and have recently got it converted to manual, i found out the other day it has an auto comp still but the wreckers that did the job offered to swap a manual one for the one i got in now, he has a stock EB Manual comp, whats the difference between the XR and Gli manual computers?

the programing of the them are different. the XR one has different feul and ignition maps. so i wouldn't swap them. wait until you find a XR one.

TickfordXR how much did the conversion cost and who did it?

I've asked a few places around Perth and they said we cant do that.
I was thinking of it for the Fairmont.
Cheers

I wouldnt bother with getting another ECU just trick yours and it will be fine and save you the $250ish. The only prob I assume that your having atm is a slightly high idle which can be adjusted by 2 resistors plugged in to your auto cannon plug that is no longer used by the manual harnes
