is it turning over? Check the manual loom. 3 wires will go to your speedo sender, the other four will go to the nuetral and reverse switches.

Join them together, two at a time, until you get reverse lights(with the box in reverse and IGN on)the other two should be for the nuetral switch. Join them together and it should crank.

The two wires for nuetral go on the terminals on top of the box and the two reverse wires go to the terminals on the side.

Theres a tutorial you do know?

did you follow the guide in the tech docs section, the one by "voxace" as youve probably just muddles the inhibitor switch wiring.

had the same issues when i did mine
Its a matter of trying a few things and going from thier
Does the car Turn over?
If so you have an ignition or fuel problem chech for spark and Injector pulse.
Does it prime when you turn the key?
if not try these options

Get The loom from the auotmatic transmission and plug it in then plug the anhibitor switch off the auto box and plug that in turn the switch so that it is in either Park or Nuetral see if it will turn over

Thats what got my one going
And if it wont start off the key e.g you can run a wire from the positive terminal on the battery to the positive terminal on the starter and get her to crank that way make sure you have the ignition on.

THats Just my 2 sence

Smart lock could be the problem What month is your EBII ? Early Model EBII didnt have smart lock.

i'd still be thinking its probly the neutral switch stopping it from turning over if everything else is working.

and its easy to test :D i'm assuming the switch just closes the circuit when in neutral, so connect the two wires you have for it together bypassing the switch completely. if that starts it then you know the switch itself is faulty.

just triple check you have the right wires for reverse lights and neutral switch, hate for it to not be starting cause you accidentally mixed two of them up.

manual conversion doco can be found here: fordmods-technical-documents-diy-f38/auto-to-manual-conversion-guide-t42420.html
