Hey guys, I know this is probably one of the most frequently asked questions but I couldnt find anything with the search function not working correctly.

I have a 92 EB XR6 4sp auto which I picked up luckily for $1500 with 158000k's on her, and would like to put a T5 behind it. I am wondering if anyone in Adelaide knows of any mechanics who can do it and a rough ballpark figure of how much it would cost?

Thanks in advance guys,

Brenton

I think All Panels & Parts @ Lonsdale used to do them. Or maybe Olympic Motor Wreckers down that way too.
Probably around the $900+ mark for it.

Hey guys, I emailed All Panels and Parts, and they told me 2500 drive away, 4 days they said it would take... Also asked them if they would use a manual ECU and they said they would leave the auto ECU.

Is this a fair enough price? anyone know of any other places in Adelaide that do conversions?

thanks guys

Olympic Motor Wreckers do a good job... Dad payed $1050 for one in his eb xr6 and that was with a tickford ecu as well :)

I emailed Olympic motor wreckers, they told me $1250 which is a good improvement from 2500 lol.

Don't think i'll find too much cheaper in Adelaide, might book it in next week some time...

Also after getting the gearbox put in, would it be a good idea to get it serviced and tuned, if so are there any good places around Salisbury/Elizabeth area?

Cheers guys

I was gonna write earlier that it should cost around the $1000 mark.
Olympics are pretty good.
