so i need to change a XF column manual to column auto :

what parts am i going to need?

gearbox
flex plate + Torque conv
change column
gear linkage
auto radiator and lines

but i have other questions:

will the auto loom just plug straight in?
is the x-member/ gb mount and tailshaft the same?
will the kickdown cable hookup to the carby?
do i need to remove the manual spigott bearing and add one for the auto and is that easy or not

any info would be good!!

You'll need to remove the pilot/spigot bearing, the loom is a straight swap only for the speficic series IE: series 1 to series 1.
pretty sure tailshaft and cross member needs changing too.

If you want to get rid o the three speed manual stuff drop me a PM, I'm after the coloum for my pano.

I've got an XF auto. If you're local, you're quite welcome to come and have a good look at it to compare it against yours. PM me if you like.
