nice nice i would think your setup with that cam would produce more torque down low??? Yeah im hoping it hammers lol the guy at the shop is confident in it making good numbers seeing he is matching the cam to the head and my car 3000 stally 4.11's etc...

Mine is Manual, using EA box (3.50:1 1st gear), and 3.27 LSD. and RPM clutch. It launches alright, but you gotta pick the revs ( std engine 3.9 MPFI), to many and way too much wheel spin, and too little, and it bogs down, but when I get it right, just a couple of turns of the rear wheels and your off.
Will be interesting to see what its like when the donk is finished.

Yes, doing bottom end too.
I don't know, I'm looking at whats in front of me. At a guess, maybe 60???
I haven't measured the total outside diameter of my tyres, but they are taller than stock ones. They are 235/60R15's. I could work it out if I knew that.
This is the formula for working out speed, with relation to diff ratio, tyre heights, RPM and g'box ratio's.

300rwhp NA, running unleaded petrol, no chance.

Running methanol, I would say possible, a cam with huge duration, no rev limiter, custom bottom end to suit, etc. But even then I would call the car a dyno king, as there would be no low-mid power.

Many years ago, a mate had a HJ Sandman P/van, had a 308, M21, 3.08 LSD and at 7500 in first was 110kmh. The funny thing with that donk in it was it was rough till 4000, then smoothed right out all the way to 7500.
It had electronic ignition. Back then, the quick cars were V8 Toranas, and it was funny racing them, mate was in 1st, and they were in 2nd snatching 3rd, and mate was still winding it up a bit more.
It would do 220kmh in top, wasn't bad for a van.

Whats funny is a Val Hemi 265 is capabale of that....why not a 4.0 OHC I6??? Also, a BMW M5 from from the late 80's had 265 kw at the f'wheel, and was only an I6.

exactly and the 4.0L is a more advanced motor compared to a 265.

stroke/bore and stroke/rod ratio??? Both would tend to dissagree with the above.
