As title suggests, looking for a reputable mechanic to replace my stuffed 6 with my supplied replacement engine. Have yellow paged 6 businesses, and it's like talking to a brick wall. One bloke even thought I was joking and called me a a***, "who'd replace a BA engine with another BA engine"

if it's the same thing then it'll just bolt straight in. should take a day or two.

Northern Brakes in Arden Street do mechanical repairs. Ask for Tom or Neil (they're the owners).
Did you try the Repco Repair Centre in Dudley St? You could be paying about $70+ per hour for the work.

if you were in perth i'd say bring it round to my place.. you could have it done in a day easy, though when being charged by the hour, 2 days sounds more like it..
