i can get them both bought and fitted at midas for $746 they also have interest free payment options. is this a good deal? the exhaust from the cat back fitted by itself is 240 while the extracters are another 506.

should i? i know the exhaust is needed and will give me the kick and growl i want but do the extractors really show much more power?

thanks guys.

yeh, that is a pretty good price. What car is it for? If possible, try and get a high flow cat too, it will be worth it. I would say go for it as you gotta start sumwhere.

Its for an Eb fairmont. ive heard that fords stock cats are still pretty good, so i think ill get one bit longer down the track if im still after some more power. (plus that and the fact that im gunna be a bit poor from this ^ ^ lol)

but yeah hopefully i can get it done next few w/e's

It's actually the other way around on a falcon... i could hardly tell if there was a power increase when i got my 2.5" zorst, but when i put the headers on there was a definate increase from 2,000 rpm upwards :)

lukey exhausts are kinda cheap stuff, you need to run them in gently for the first few hundred k's, they have a tendency to fall apart a little.

Hey mate I went the Pacemakers with lukey 2 1/2 a few months back from Midas in Thomastown and couldn't be happier with the note and all round performance over stock.
That said i have no other setup to compare to buti'm happy with how it is for now.
