G'day,
my mate has a EF that has what i believe to be a misfire at around the 100kmh range. the reason i think its a misfire is because it a vibration that comes through the steering wheel (and whole car at times) but comes and goes which to me eliminates wheel balance ect?

it does have an eratic idle and we have had dramas with the crankshaft position sensor in the past (turned out to just be dirty).
so anyway i cleaned the old one...no different...put a new one on...no different. it has new good quality leads and plugs late last year so should be good.

i have another coil i could throw on as im thinking maybe it looses two cylinders but highly doubt it as it wont idle properly either.

anyway thanks allot

regards jay
