Ive got an EF series II. Just recently and slowly with more occurences its been misfiring a little, its usually when its under load ( up a hill or giving it accel in 4th). or generally just givin it some, but not all the time??

i know sweat d**k all about why it might be happening, my initial thought was fuel inpurities or something like that but, it also hase a little bit of a rough idle, and with the only performance mod at present being panel filter, this is not normal??

Ive read posts about timing and this seams to fit, i havnt touched the computer as i wouldnt even know where it is...and i think ive read that with EF's you cant change timing at the ecu anyways? so it just might have swayed over time...anyways im just rambling so any thoughts would be great!!

thanks

spent about 6 hours at "granville Autotech" today.. their waiting room is mad.. aloota car mags n an xbox with "v8 sipercars 3"... back on topic... they dynoed my car to see if the mis was being caused by my ecu or the unichip... turns out negative.. they both appear to be dyno proven fine... my car is now booked in for next week thur to have all the sensors checked... feels like im on a merry-go-round atm.. :?

i didnt end up going back to granville autotech.. i grabbed a spare map censor and 2 oxygen censors and the complete resevoir for the brake booster for $50 from " pick n payless" i gave 1 of the oxygen censor a good clean with a wire brush n swapped it into my car and "bobs your aunty" the mis has dissapeared :D went for a 50km drive and not a trace of a mis... feels so much better to drive now...
