my 98 el was missing up hills quite badly for a couple of days till
i changed all the leads, plugs and coil...it drives fine...in the city but under load even afetr all the new stuff.i can still tell it is missing ever so slightly...but yeah.. n e ideas?

could also be the inlet manifold gasket ,on idle pour water over the inlet manifold section of the motor if you hear a sucking noise,or similar noise or it runs better ,cant quite remember,it could very well be the inlet manifold gasket,hope that helps...Vito.
