Hey guys iam new to owning a ford and was wondering if someone could give me some tips...i have tha 4.0L Multipoint motor with a bigger throttle body bigger fuel injectors and extarods through 2 a 2 and a half inch pipe...i was wondering if u could give me any good ideas to gain some extra power relatively easily?...i also would like to put and LSD in and was wondering do these later model ford come with LSD?...if so could i fit one into my EA?...Just one last thing my front drives seat is a little bugga so was goin to buy a new one but then got to thinking could you put EF/EL seats in a EA?...or even AU seats?...i dont kno...any help would b great thanks

when did you put the 4L MPI engine in it?
if you're for real first thing is to get rid of the bigger injectors. Quote: extarods through 2 a 2 and a half inch pipe..

you could try ebay for stuff just look up EA and you will be amazed what you can find u want to lower the car try ebay king springs or lovells or motor wize single 2 1/2" should be enough alone good set of extractors pacers or lukey maybe a mild cam don't go to large or you will get ecu problems with to large cam maybe a bore, complete rebuild or a turbo and supercharger but becareful what you put in when u got efi or else you will need to get a aftermarker ecu

The 4.0L was in it wen i brought it its 1990 and its and S-Pack...i got it at the right price to everything was done and it only cosy me a grand...y should i get rid of the bigga injectors and as for if iam real its only my everyday driver iam not tryin to make a 10 sec car...extra rods?? well that was a typo ment to say extrators...thanks xflow ill have a look on ebay as for lowering its already down 2 1/2 alround

extractors u got
Xh snorkel Cam of some sort RPD, CMS, JMM) LSDs came out the the EA fairmont ghias i think and that should bolt straight up to yours

Cause if your running them with the stock ecu, that's the reason your leaving clouds of black smoke everywhere you go! How big are these injectors, thier not 'XR6' ones are they? But as for upgrades, what is it, auto or manual?

They are XR6 injectors iam guessing thats a bad thing??...smoke?my cars blows no smoke what so ever and runs fine i just want more power...the XH snorkel seems like such and easy mod does it make mush difference...just increase the air getting to the motor yea...and has anyone tired to put late model ford seats if an EA??

Not a bad thing, I just hope you didn't pay alot for them.
XR6 Injectors are exactly the same as stock. XR6's just have a different fuel pressure regulator, which bumps up the fuel pressure so more fuel get's squirted. XH Snorkel is a good place to start.

nah i didnt pay alot for tha car as a whole it only cost me a grand and everything that weve talked about was done wen i brought it...tha car was a steal i felt a little guilty but i wouldnt tell him that...so really to pump more fuel in i would need the fuel regulator then and just putting tha XR6 injectors on would do nothing

good place to start is if its automatic, to convert it to manual, makes a huge dif.
