Hi all,

Looked around and couldnt find a post about this so thought id ask. How can I go about making my tansmission have more kick or change from the dreaded long first gear faster?

Some have suggested a high stall torque converter. But thats all

Its an Au falcon, with air intake and exhaust

4:11 upward diff gears would give you nice whiplashing changes, and your gf would be sick of hitting her head on the wheel too

Thats what ive considered, yes. But this is my last resort. What i want is a faster transmission, that of similar to a commodore's or the newer zf 6 speeds, or a way to make my current 4 speed box an absolute animal.

Just sick of all those Holden nuts thinking their 6 cyl engines are faster, when in fact the falcon has a much higher power output, all it lacks is the decent transmission.
