that engine bay has been butchered an ea cfi with an ef engine in a el personally if that was me i would rip all the s**t out and start fresh

nah the cfi manifold would work well with the gas set-up, be good for straight gas that is. you could set it up like the old carbie gas systems instead of restricting the crud out of the bbm with a mixer ring?
get it tuned first and see if that works, be a lot easier than stuffing around replacing all the stuff that has been removed.
if then it runs crap still after being tuned AND FOR GODS SAKE FLUSH the cooling system properly as well - LPG will not work properly if your cooling system isn't up to scratch.

then bother refitting the bbm and all the required fuel injection equipment.

dunno, probably. but if it passed emission standards they probably wouldnt care.

interesting are u sure you dont have a ea with a el engine in it because that looks like the eb intake manifold with the carby plus i thought ford stoped making carby's in 1990 .... :S

nah you can tell its an ef/el by the header tank,the type of rad support little things like that

ef had a dipstick on the transmission el didnt could be a number of things el engine with ef rocker cover, ef engine with the el transmission s**t like that
