:D
Greetings all,

i just have a few questions i would like to ask,

I personally am not very mechanically minded so please keep the responses in normal terms.

I have a auto 4spd and was looking for the best headers/exhaust package i could find for my car.

Those SS induction kits on sale on ebay has any1 purchased one and installed would like some feedback.

What would be the best way to spend 2-3k and get the most power output out of my car.

Thanks...... 8-)

Headers, exhaust and a custom flash tune will come in under your budget and provide a good gain and improve your fuel economy. Go for pacemaker headers and probly a redback or lukey exhaust but make sure it's 2.5inch mandrel bent.

Ride: '07 LT XR5

Power: 133 rwkw

Location: sydney

extractors: Pacekmaker 4490's
Exhaust: 2.5" mandrel bent catback
air intake: K&N panel filter

that will give you a great sound and more power.

THEN: when you get a bit bored of that, get a CUSTOM tune (not a generic tune, CUSTOM). this will be close to $1,300-$1,500 in it's own right, but it will really liven the car up.

after all this i think you could expect close to 170kw at the wheels (correct me if i am wrong)

I have a similar setup, except i have x-force extractors. Got the custom tune and made 158.1 at the wheels.

Tune cost me 1200, and that included the typhoon lower airbox mod. Exhaust system was 1000.

If i had my time over, i would probably get the exhaust done and then do the diff. Get an LSD with better ratio's and then do the custom tune. Bang for your buck the diff will get you heaps better acceleration.

Maybe the sticky should be updated a bit to include au's and the b series/fg.when I skimmed over it I can't recall seeing anything but e series stuff.
