ive done same as el-fairmont but i used half my air box as heat sheild, plus cold air intake can still b used too

Looks good in all pics but sorry its prob only about a 15% cold air intake, would be like a vacum cleaner with half the body cut open. It will suck in air from the easiest area which would be from the engine bay. Best would be to as some have done is use the factory airbox which is completely sealed and add another inlet from outside the engine bay.

i pulled the rest of the airbox out so its drawing abit more cooler air. i said it was an intake not a cold air intake. hahahaha

I think you missed the point. If it was better to not have a sealed airbox sucking in air from outside the hot engine bay im sure all car manufactures would have done that and saved millions by not fitting one. |
