I noticed a difference from just cutting the hole by itself even sucking the hot air.

Also found theres a bigger gap for airflow abover the headlight than there is around the factory snorkel.

The point of this was to get more cold air into the airbox without hacking the bonnet or cutting a hole in the guard

hope the cops don't harrass, I had arguements with them because they found a tiny empty plastic bag in the engine bay (was the pouch for some screws for my bonnet protector)

that is quiet nifty...good on you =D

though that only works for those who have a pod filter in the box...

won't work very well for those with K&N rectangular filters...

phong =P~

The shroud is made out of sheetmetal from a broken microwave lol and was made in three pieces cause it was too much thinking to make it one piece.

I made a cardboard template for the 2 sides and bottom then traced around them onto the metal to cut out, hammered them into shape, then pop riveted them together.

The foam didnt want to glue on, so i chopped a small section out in a couple places and screwed down some brackets to hold the foam on.

The foam is from a furniture trimmer
