Hey guys finally converted the car to manual though I would post up some pics. Goes awesome so much harder than the auto still gotta sort out the clutch I have to keep adjusting it and the ECU aswell.

im really tempted to do this on the ef, but need to $$$ first, does the car go noticably harder now then with the auto???

wow you did it with jack stands? Doing mine tomorrow hahaha so hopefully when I get mine in it wont' die on me.

BTW did you have the manual ECU or resistor?

ha i did mine on a hoist 8)

goes heaps better than the ole slush box dont it.

im surprised you fitted a gearbox with Bomber and you didnt fit a short shifter to it while it was outa the car.

the conversion isnt that hard, esp if you do some good preperation, have all wiring done etc.

Yeah goes so much harder the complete conversion including mall wood pin cost me $300 all up I got out of it pretty cheap and the box is awesome.

hey i had a thought, maybe the manual ecu u got isnt smartlock? is your car smartlock?

mines not and the ecu im getting is, might pay to swap if you have smartlock cos maybe thats why the car wont start with that ecu in it?
