Wow very nice. Have you painted the engine bay or is that a cover? If its painted was it very hard?
I guess you have to remove alot of the supporting gear for the engine (coolant tank, relays, brake boosters etc.)

BRAKE BOOSTER.... -surrounded by stock fire wall carpet..
COOLANT TANK.... -easy bolts undone in 2 mins..
RELAYS....- can easy take the lid off to not get over spray on..

Nothing a few cans of "Gloss black" cant do to the look of the bay... use to be a white engine bay like the rest of the car..

yes...they are just silicon hoses that slip over the brake lines.. provided you "slit" them with a stanly knife..

Sometimes bigger isnt better, for example one of the best flowing air boxes is the VS V8 airbox. Its very small in design and the shape of it apparently outflows most other makes....

didnt say anything about airflow... but did previously mention gives you alot more room inside to muck around with pod/panel combinations according to fitment wise...

And did you know.. STOCK BA XT air boxes have a 4 INCH NECK! ef's have that crappy rounded rubber gromet thingy inside the neck of which looks to be around 2.5 inch to 3 inch max..

Sorry i just read the article again and it seems when the VS V8 airbox has its snorkle connected it flows just as much as the EF box but with the snorkle removed it flows like 20% more.

http://autospeed.drive.com.au/cms/A_0073/article.html

With regards to your airbox, it sounds good you would think it would have to flow better than the EF box.

I want this setup lol
