Hey all, I need a new socket for my head bolts. A 14mm hexagonal 1/2 drive i believe. I've been to autobarn and repco and they only stock the gay circle shape which always slips on head bolts. Anyone know a good place to get what i'm after?

if im thinking what your thinking the best thing to do is go down to super cheap or BOS gas and gear and find the cheapest set of impact sockets there. They are usually black in colour and trust me, if u break one of them on the head there may be something wrong with the head. They are usually about $15-$40 a set of 10-24. They are really cheap and you only have to use them once. I got a set of impact sockets (12) for $8 (on special) from some tool shop here and ive used them countless times on a double impact wrench and are still going.

sweet, did that and got the bolts off, cheers. PS: dont go to autosupermarket. All they had in the store were 2 teenage girls who had trouble understanding what a socket was, pathetic. Repco all the way.
