hi all i am swapping steering colums on my ef , ive un plugged all the wires and took off the steering wheel, dropped the steering column but it wont come out and ive also un done the circlip thingy but still wont come out

any help would be great

remove plate that screws to the floor and disconnect from steering rack.

i got my steering column in now my car wont start cause im not using my ignition barrel is there a way to start my car without swapping ignition barrels over??

You will have to retrain your smart lock remotes.

im not sure what u mean? i only have my remote, i put on another steering column and im using another ignition barrel , my car starts fine with my ignition barrel but nit with the other one, so how can i get my car to start using the other ignition barrel ??

Have you tried your old ign barrel in the new column. new one may be dodgy. You would be better off with your old one anyway so it matches your door ket. If the key fob and bcm dont match, car wont start.

yeh i just had to drilll the bolts off the igntion barrel then i put my ignition barrel on the new column.. so its all sweet now
