Hi all i need help urgently...... i did a modification found here ford-audio-visual-f5/another-ba-aftermarket-head-unit-thread-complete-t72414.html which is fitting an aftermarket head unit to a BA falcon and requires cutting the speaker wires from the Kick Panel looms on both sides of the car anyway i bought the fascia that allows you to install the aftermarket headunit and installed it all exactly as instructed on the above link. After installation my car will not start anymore...it cranks then fires, starts for about 1 second the then shuts off.

I thought maybe i had wired something wrong so i went back and removed all the headunit wiring and reconnected everything back to the ICC and no luck.... What have i done...have i blown a fuse?

I did accidentally cut the wrong wire on the passenger loom... (Green and Green Black) and tried to run sound through it from the headunit as a test but it didnt work...i cant be exact but i do remember having some power fluctuation issues when i tried these 2 wires on the headunit.

i urgently need some feedback please or i wont be able to go to work come monday

I know that im posting sort of an audio question in the 6 cylinder topic but given im having issues with the car starting i thought this would be the proper place to place this topic

I've done a number of headunit on a few different models. Mates cars and mine.
Id never touch anything more "advanced"(newer) then say something like a el.
Too many wires.
One wrong snip and its a pain in the a**.

Factory Screen says "Code" because the battery went flat and i had to take it out to charge

Oh and i didnt solder the wire i cut, i crimped a joiner on it....surely this would not be any different than soldering
