[b]hey there, i'm a newbie on this website...have previously owned an XD,EA, ED now I have an EB.
I am having trouble with the Cruise Control, and it's a pain in the a*** because it's a long drive to work, and the go pedal is twitchy.
I don't know if there's a fuse for it or something, but when I press "on", the "cruise" lights up, but when I operate the "ACC/SET", nothing happens.
A little help please?

The first thing I did was to check the brake lights... The cruise was working the first time I used it, now it just doesn't wanna work again.

Its probably the unit itself. My eb does the same thing.

Hey thanks for the advice...maybe I can pick up a second hand somewhere... It's funny though because the "cruise" still lights up, just doesn't pick up the slack when I hit "ACC/SET".
Hey by the way, these cars are absolute weapons! I love the pick up on the EB, even when stock standard.

Mine had identical symptoms - it was the electronics/motor unit.

Anyone know an approx replacement cost for the unit?
My EB is doing the exact same thing. Brake lights are ok, tried adjusting the pedal switch and cleaning the button contacts with no luck.

If it's a manual it could be the pedal sensor. The clutch pushes it in when its disengaged.

It's a stock standard 4 spd auto with no mods yet... maybe I should get to a mechanic (shame), as no-one probably lives in my area
