Hey guys last nite i put in a new head unit in my EF2 and to do that i had to disconnect my negative terminal for longer then 1/2 hr and now its dropping down to 300rpm sometimes wen coming up to a corner. Would that be that the ECU is relearning itself?

Maybe it could be.Get your engine to operating temperature and then disconnect the isc plug and adjust your idle speed.Sounds like your idle speed is too low.Make sure you spray a little wd40 on the little idle screw.Remember when disconnectiong the isc the engine drops 200rpm so when adjusting your idle account for that.Hope that helps.

Thanks 4 the info. The thing is ive had the car 4 3 weeks now and the idle has been perfect but it was just after i disconnected the battery it has been doin this in the last day. ive Searched the forums and found many post saying that the only thing u get outta of reseting ya ecu is that its gonna make it run rough 4 a while.

Just see how you go,get your engine warm and adjust your idle then take it for a 10km drive and see how it goes after that.

To adjust idle speed put car into diagnostic mode. Then adjust idle speed with a 0.75mm feeler between the idle speed stop and idle speed screw. This will allow the ISC full control once out of diagnostics.

Like i thought in my original post. It was the ecu re-learning itself. Went 4 a 300km drive and by half way it was idle fine.
