I got a Wade 1636 Cam put in on Wednesday, no tune.
I was told to run it in at low revs for about 2 hours of driving before revving it hard.

My question is should you feel the effects of the cam immediately or does it take a while for the cam to run in and the ECU to adjust before you feel the true effects?

Cheers
Pete

my 1636 took about 200ks before the ecu relearned. it stalled a fair bit and would hunt at idle.
but after that it was fine.
You should feel the effects immediately, but give it a chance to learn, and run the cam in before you drive it hard

You don't 'run in' roller cams.

it'll make power from the day it was put in but may take a few days to settle into a stable idle.

Well I have driven the car for about 150K's so far and yes I do feel a difference. However, I feel a bigger difference now then when I first got the car back.

and I did not have any stalling issues, no problem at all. What do you mean by hunt? if you mean that it seems like its about to stall or seems to be a bit unsteady then I did not have any of these issues.

But do you think that as time goes it will get better?

Cheers
