Hey kids got my diff reco'd last night my lsd and bearings were f**k and i wanted to go up2 3:45's anyway, anyway between 100 and 125kmh theres a strange high pitched whine from the diff? the diff mech said to run it in for 500km so the new grease melts through the bearings, sounds reasonable but new diff new noise?????????? da f**k, is this sorta s**t expected?

Oh cant contact the diff mech till monday.

Sounds like s**t.

Give it a gentle run in but take it back and get him to go for a ride with you identify the noise and get an agreement to fix it in say a week a month or whatever you would be happy with.

May need an lsd diff additive on top of the normal diff oil. Its supposed to eliminate, or at least reduce such noise.
