Hey
Car has went from a intermitent rattle to contstant been told flex plate, torque convertor, cat, and head so far .... would i be better of just getting a new engine and gear box ??? i heard au engines fit in ea's true or not if so is $750 for a au engine long (alt, p/steer, a/c) a ok price and is the anything else i would need does a au engine fit a ea '90 4 speed auto ox or do i need one of them as well ????

unless you have a deep affinity for your engine i would sy get a new au and follow that thread for extras.

Youd get more life out of the car, less probable that there will be something else to go wrong and you would probably get a bit more power than from a tired old i6.

Would be a good idea if you can do some of it yourself too, as this would ct costs, but dont know if thats an option.
