hey guys,
just picked up my car after putting in pacey extractors and 2.5" cat back with a muffler and hotdog. sounds very nice. nice quiet deep rumble at idle which im very happy about. payed $750 all up which is not bad i spose. took it for a spin (lpg) and it died  lol i flicked it back to petrol and all was good. resetting the computer as we speak so hopefully should be all good.
just one more thing im getting a strange whining noise. must be oil pressure because i lift the oil dipstick up and the noise goes away. cant pinpoint it but seems to be coming from the rear/passenger side of the engine...any chance the oil filter could be just loose? thnx for any comments |

I hadv a loud whining supercharger sound when I first got my exhaust, but after a month, its pretty much gone now.

yup it sure is =)
i believe it could be a seal thats makin that noise so im gonna get that fixed, then lowering, tint and cam and will be all good...for the meantime lol |

got it done in ringwood...ita called "one stop exaust" or somthing like that. i think it's what used to be "performance exhausts" on new st. the paceys are the 4499's

i got my exhaust in as well...but i think there is a leak....might need to take it out and put it back in but no time =(....i would do it now but its a tad hot after a drive.
how much did u pay for the tip?

hey, mate, thats where I got my exhaust done, they're a good bunch, did you deal with daniel? (the guy with glasses), he doesn't f**k you around like a lot of other shops tried, ie: MR Muffler.

nah wasnt daniel, didnt get the guys name coz was in a bit of a hurry but yeah no complaints from the guys down there they did a great job. done a couple hundred k's on it and its started to sound better already
