Just got a Redback 2.5 inch cat back system fitted. Its got 2 mufflers (a hot dog for the rear), and a chrome 2.5 inch dual tip. Looks and sounds awesome! It doesnt drone either which is good

Been considering a 'dual muffler' setup.. Is it really loud, sounds beefy? etc..

Yeh it sounds nice and beefy, not like a jap exhaust or anything. Once it gets up over say 1800 it gets real loud and nice!

I cant feel much difference in power and that. Id say getting extractors would mainly help that rather than the cat back exhaust, im not fussed though, i got it so that id have a good sounding car and thats what i got

The hotdog behind your tailshaft is it the size and shape of a phone book. The reason why i ask is because i got a redback 2 muffler system about 6months ago fitted.

I ended up getting the back muffler removed and a piece of black 2.5in pipe welded in. Got sick of reving the crap out of the car just to get some noise, sounds really good now, with just the one muffler. Also a high flow cat makes it sound even better(more crisper note).


You got a good price anyway..

Yeh im happy with it, its not too loud when idling which is what i want. I only have to give it a bit of revs and it starts getting loud

i got genie headders with 2.5 inch lukey perfomance exhaust and it sounds sweet as soon as u put the foot on the accelerator and it has a rear muffler so it doesnt drone on the highway. put that is cheaps as chips man nicely done.
