That is like saying to a turtle, you gotta run like a hare. Its not going to happen. I reckon, get the exhaust that gives the best power, bugger the noise.
I have the V8 and the 6. The 6 and 8 are awesome but in their own ways. the 6 not for its sound.

its got to do with the mufflers try some diffrent ones out and see what u like but a bigger cam will give u a lumpier sound do.

Try "SUPERTRAPP", had them on my old souped up 4.1 corty. sounds like no other 6 you hear around.
even with todays straight throu system, nothing comes close. even better when a 351c went in, awesome! If only I kept them. mind you, they're not cheap. I think I'd paid $700 or more 16 years ago for 2 x 18" long, 2.5" inlet & 4" outlet & 24x diffuser rings. they might be cheaper today.

That doesn't sound like a V8. It's just f**k loud, on the overrun it sounds like a truck. Don't ask how I know, suffice to say it wasn't intentional

Get SUPERTRAPP muffler if you're after a unique sound. some old school technology that sounds much better then any redback, lukey, remus or s**t cannons.
