it has a new gasket which has been put on etc. only 2000k's old tho. jus wondering if i need a new one b/c its been "squashed"?

yes you do otherwise there is a high possibilty you will have a manifold leak my rule of thumb is always replace o rings gaskets ect when doing something for the small expensis not only saves time later but possibly more costly damage

I have re-used exhaust and inlet manifold gaskets before, never had a problem myself. I guess it's upto you, aslong as the gasket isn't stuffed when you take it off it should be fine.

personally i don't see it worth it for saving $10.00. THe hour or half an hour that it would take me to remove the manifold again and refit a new gasket later on if the reused gasket leaks is just not worth it.
it's never a great idea to reuse gaskets. |

i would say just buy one or use sicicone gasket but would proply be cheaper to get a new one, saves dramers... GL

I have reused reasonably fresh gaskets before with no issues down the track.
