oh yeh something else strange is my car is lowered it has blue springs all round yet when i drove it it was sittin on the bumpstops .. making for a very enjoyable ride(watching my gf,s jugs bounce round)
i took outthe bumpstops and drove it again .. it dont hitthe bumpstops cos they aint there lol but it definetly hits sumthing ..

i take it its an ea, fair chance that unless they are shortend shockers that they will still be botteming out, or if they are shortend then theres a fair chance that either the spring coils are botteming out or that the lower and upper trailing arms are touching and/or the diff is hitting the chassis rails.

why not go injected?

sorry its a xe falcon .. 4.1 i think auto gearbox and i think u might be right about the coils touching that way .. i might get them replaced i hope it dont happen again tho lol .. any ideas about the performance gain with the redline manifold and 350 holley? .. i realise it wont be earth shattering speed gains ... but a lil more horepower would be nice .. uno enu to beat a fat kid on a pushbike

@ adrian : why not go injected

in my mind i thought a 350 holley would be faster then an injected xf.. i baught my xe untouched it came with a s**t carb setup .. next year after i get sick of the manifold and holley ill buy a cheap v8 302 and throw that in .. on ebay theresd a guy sellin a 302 tunnel ram including twin holley 4 barrles for $1200 thats a pretty good deal .. and the chick factor for my Xe will be off the scale

NEW GIRLFRIEnd HERE I COME

From experience, forget the Holley if your car now starts, idles , runs ok.
A 350 holley won't do a thing (except maybe give you trouble )

It'll be fine.. A mate used to have 250ci XF with a Redline manifold and a 600, then later a 465. With the right tune you'll be right.
