Hello All,

This post is for new members and people who are trying to do some simple things to their Ford.

Thank you in advance to the experts who are here to help.

Feel free to add to the list of questions.

Air and Cooling System

I want to upgrade the following, what is a good brand to choose?

1. Hoses - <insert brand names here>
2. Intake Air Duct and Air Filter Upper Housing - <insert brand names here>
3. Is the radiator tank upgradeable?

Rims, Tyres, and Brakes

Cleaning and making it look shiny

1. What is a good washing liquid to make the inside of the alloy wheels all shiny again?

I have tried heavy duty CT-18 and let it penetrate the grime for about 1 hour before hosing it off, but the stuff

(brake dust) just won't come off completely!

Making the stuff under the bonnet all shiny and looking nice

1. Which parts do you need to cover up before flushing out the degreaser with your garden hose?

Battery, Spark plugs and leads, alternator, LPG convertor, anything electrical - wiring, <anything more?>

Intake;
Try this
'Dual Intake for less than $10'
http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=11262681 and chuck a K&N Filter in it.

Radiator tank I think you mean the over-flow bottle, there are stainless steel tanks from PWR and various other companies check ebay.. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Alloy-Header-Tan ... 7C294%3A50
