Hey guys, I've just put a redback 2.5" catback on my el, should I get a cam next or extractors? I wanna build more of a torquey grunta for launching off the line and towing stuff when I feel more sensible haha. Was thinking pacy 4480's are they more for top end or torque?
With the cam, I'm not really sure which to get, but will probably go a wade cam. Whatever cam I get, it has to have a bit of lump at idle haha.Which cam+extractors+exhaust combos have you guys got? What power have you gotten?
How much is a ti performance j chip+tune cost?
I was looking at the cms website, with their stage 3 cam it says you need isc and tps mods done- what's the go there? Anyway cheers for any advice

If i help you out with the engine swap

Can i have the harmonic balancer that wont be needed pretty please?

You will need to swap the log to BBM simple

as its a EL the ED motor will still have a dizzy etc

Also you will need to re use all your known working EL stuff like power steering pump , tensioner, alternator , AC pump water pump , etc etc

tranny shall bolt up fine etc direct swap pretty much apart from the front belt set up and manifolds easy though

Yeah when I get it ill let ya know mate. The motor will be on an engine stand for a while I reckon. If I know my uncle the ed motor will be fairly rough. But I don't care ill strip it right back for a full rebuild, who knows maybe a turbo might find its way into the mix...

CMS Stage 3 will hunt in the idle which is why Joe states that it will need TPS and ISC Mods. To get the best from this cam you will need head Mods as well. A SCT chip will help as well. You will need to upgrade your Valve springs as well, a Vernier gear is needed to dial this cam in as well.

Contact Joe at CMS for more info. I have a cam here that you can use for exchange as well if wanted for a small fee.

Planned mods for my spare motor I think, let me know if there's any silly/superfluous mods in there.
Steam/chemical cleaned block.
Cryogenic treated standard crank/rods.
New pistons/piston rings.
Au injectors (at least) or Bosch 36lb units.
300kpa fuel reg.
Walbro 255l/hr fuel pump.
Ticky head+wade cam or cms stage 3 cam+head.
Pacy 4480's.
Oil cooler+ remote filter kit.
J3 chip.
3" piping tb to airbox with pod inside.
New dizzy, probably msd.
New spark leads.
New h.v. oil pump.

I want at least 150rwkw, with these mods that should fairly doable yeah?
